THE 'QA ALL STARS' RIDE THE DISTANCE FOR SICK KIDS!

For over 30 years, the Starlight Children's Foundation has had one mission: to brighten the lives of seriously ill children, young people, and their families by bringing laughter and joy at a time when they need it most.

First launched in 2001, Starlight's 30-day cycling challenge - 'Tour de Kids' (TDK) - has now become one of the biggest fundraising campaigns in Australia, raising over $12 million to help bring joy and happiness to sick children across Australia.

We were determined to make a BIG impact this year. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the 'QA All Stars' team as they pedalled and raised much-needed funds for this fantastic cause, we were able to achieve the following:

  • $18,618 raised by the 'QA All Stars' for the Starlight Children's Foundation

  • 8,745 = total number of kilometres our team cycled in September

  • The 'QA All Stars' ranking as the #1 Top Team in the country (in both kilometres and sponsorship)

And most importantly...

  • 477 = total number of lives impacted

We could not be prouder of the individual efforts of our 'QA All Stars' to get us this result in 2023. Our heartfelt thanks once again to all who supported our team and, by doing so, have positively impacted the lives of 477 children!

If the above isn't enough, our top performing 'QA All Stars' enjoyed an experience 'like no other' when they visited one of the Starlight Express Rooms at the Sydney Children's Hospital. Bringing everyone together to experience the magic of the Express Room from a child's lens, our top performers played games, created art, and, importantly, learned just how big of an impact our fundraising efforts were having in brightening the lives of sick children across Australia and in support of the Starlight foundation.
